Beautiful Celtic style pen that is made from Ancient Bog Oak. What could be more authentic then a writing instrument created from wood that has been preserved in the fens of the region where the Celts ruled. The wood is between 4,000 and 6,000 year old wood that has been preserved by Peat Bogs. It comes with the Certificate of Authenticity explaining it's origins. The hardware is high quality pewter, which gives the pen a heavy solid feel. The ball point refill is also high quality and writes smoothly and crisply. When the time comes for a new refill, it is a standard size that is easily found in office supply stores. It arrives in the gift box shown in the photos. It is the perfect gift for someone of Celtic decent or anyone who appreciates a beautiful and unique pen with a story.
