Beautiful nautical style pen hand turned from Kingwood. In keeping with the nautical theme, the hardware is a nice brass finish, which is the perfect contrast for the wood. Kingwood is a dense type of rose wood, and this specimen has a gorgeous grain to it. I used a high gloss finish that is buffed to perfection. This pen is the perfect gift for the Navy veteran (like me), or anyone who loves the sea.
