This beautiful hand turned pen was made from Kingwood, which is exceptionally rare and expensive. This specimen has vibrant and rich grain to it, and I buffed it to a high gloss finish. The pen kit is nautical and made from brass. It is the perfect gift for a Navy veteran, like myself, or for anyone who loves sailing or the ocean. The pen has a solid and heavy feel to it. It uses Cross Pen refills, which are widely available.
