This beautiful hand turned pen is made from a gorgeous specimen of Thuya Burl, which has vibrant and rich grain that I buffed it to a high gloss finish. The pen kit is nautical and made from brass. It is the perfect gift for a Navy veteran, like myself, or for anyone who loves sailing or the ocean. The pen has a solid and heavy feel to it. It uses Cross Pen refills, which are widely available. It comes in the gift box shown in the photos.
